Who this page is for
This page is for users of s.space, provided by AG2AI, Inc. It applies to the s.space app on Android (package space.ag2.app), on iOS (bundle com.ag2space.chat), and to the web and desktop clients. Your account is the same on all of them, so deleting it once deletes it everywhere.
Delete from inside the mobile app
In the s.space app on Android or iOS, open Settings and choose Delete account. The app asks you to confirm, then deactivates your account with erasure. This is permanent: it signs you out on every device and cannot be undone.
Request deletion by email
On the web and desktop apps, or if you can no longer sign in, email [email protected] from the address you used to sign in (your email, Google or Apple account) with the subject line Delete my s.space account. Include your Matrix user id (it looks like @name:s.space) if you know it. We verify that you own the account by replying to that address, and then delete it.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in credentials and every signed-in device
- Your profile (display name and avatar)
- Your entry in the user directory
- Push notification registrations
- Your account settings
- Your onboarding progress records
- The account’s server-side data that we control
What may persist
- Messages you have already sent into shared rooms, and media you uploaded to them, stay with those rooms for the other members. This is the same statement our Privacy Policy makes: we do not represent that account deletion erases previously-sent content everywhere.
- Product metrics from the apps. They are tied to a random per-install identifier, not to your account, so we cannot match them to you.
- Records we are required to keep by law. Anything else is removed within 3 months of deletion.
How long it takes
Deletion from inside the app takes effect immediately: your account is closed and you are signed out everywhere. Our team then removes the associated data, including your sign-in record and connected-app links. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days of the verification reply, and we confirm by email when the deletion is done. Remaining data is removed from our systems within 3 months, unless we must keep some of it longer to meet legal obligations.
